Questions | The nature of reality should always be questioned
"To look always for an answer, a solution to the ever-puzzling riddles that confront us: that is our responsibility, our curse, and our blessing." ~Stuart M. Hess
"Favor the question, always question. Do not accept answers as definitive. Answers change. Questions don't. Always question those who are certain of what they are saying. Always favor the person who is tolerant enough to understand that there are no absolute answers, but there are absolute questions."
~Elie Wiesel
"Nothing shapes our lives so much as the questions we ask, refuse to ask, or never think of asking. The question is the helmsman of consciousness."
~Sam Keen
Question everything! ~Albert Einstein
Honor the questions.
~Alan Clements
Every question is an invocation of power.
~Caroline Myss
I have come to love the questions themselves. I have learned to sit in the question, let it work on me, penetrate my awareness and lead me to new questions. When I surrender to "not knowing," I create the space for something new and original to enter. And often, the only thing that enters, are more questions! Then I am reminded:
"I beg you...to have patience with everything unresolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves as if they were locked rooms or books written in a very foreign language. Don't search for the answers, which could not be given you now, because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps then, someday far in the future, you will gradually, without even noticing it, live your way into the answer."
~Rainer Maria Rilke
